Paging Dr. Kimberly Shaw

So at dinner, I reminded by my mother that I was named after this chick,

Dr. Kimberly Shaw [Melrose Place] - Portrayed by Marcia Cross

And just a few minutes before typing up this blog post, I went to research this character.....

Kimberly first appeared in the first season as a Resident Doctor at Wilshire Memorial, a colleague of Michael Mancini. She was considered one of the top new doctors there on the fast track to a bright future. Initially, she helped Michael with whatever problems he had going on, such marital or personal problems as a doctor. The two became friends and she accompanied Michael to the Melrose Place Christmas party where she first met the other residents. Later on, Alison moved out of her apartment and Billy needed a new roommate. Michael suggested Kimberly and so she went to look at the apartment. However, noticing Billy and Alison's issues, she decides that she doesn't want a roommate as it means getting involved in peoples day to day lives. Kimberly soon notices herself having feelings for Michael and soon learns that he feels the same way. They begin to have an affair and are soon caught out by Alison. Michaels wife, Jane, soon finds out and confronts Michael. He denies it but the two are then caught red handed by Jane herself. Michael agrees to stop seeing Kimberly to save his marriage but cannot deny his feelings for Kimberly. Kimberly initially tries to end the affair as she thinks it is morally wrong but she too cannot deny her feelings. Confronted by Jane, Kimberly reveals the affair is not over and so Jane files for divorce

SO... THERE WAS A NAME THAT POPPED UP A FEW TIMES..... FREAKY! BUT A GOOD FREAKY! :D
